Forcepoint NGFW, combines enterprise software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) connectivity with enterprise next-generation firewall (NGFW) – providing high-availability, centralized management platform with robust protection for mission-critical applications. Forcepoint’s network security solutions have high availability and scalability. A unified software core enables the Forcepoint NGFW to be deployed in multiple security roles such as a Layer 3 firewall/VPN, Intrusion Protection Solution (IPS), or Layer 2 firewall within dynamic environments. It can also prevent attempted exfiltration of sensitive data from endpoints via unauthorized programs, web applications, users, and communications channels. Forcepoint Security Management Center (SMC) provides enterprise-ready centralized management of Forcepoint NGFW for full life cycle management of in-field devices, policy and log administration all within the same console (UI). Administrators can specify and apply different types of security techniques to each connection by application, user, location or other factors.
