Areas of Application
The product is intended to be used as Secure Signature Creation Device in accordance with the European Directive  1999/93/EC, but provides the possibility to include other applications apart from the creation of digital signatures.
Starcos 3.5 ID ECC implements ECDSA GF(p) with a key length of up to 521 bit RSA with a key length of up to 4096 bit and secure random number generation.

Other key management functionality including the handling of X.509 or S/MIME-certificates is also supported according to the needs of the customer. This key management functionality is recommended for the protection of data classified NATO RESTRICTED
