The Smart Card Reader Cry-18 is supporting electronic crypto material distribution by using modern smart cards. It offers crypto material distribution means for specific distribution scenarios.

One of these is the possibility to substitute crypto material handling with paper tapes and paper tape punchers. With the CRy-18 crypto material or key files, stored and delivered on a smart card, can be securely transferred into the Data Transfer Device II (DTD II) or directly into a crypto host via interfaces DS-101 or DS-102. Crypto material loading and transfer is possible in the modes Fill or Issue.
