KL-43F

(U) The KL-43C/F is a ruggedized, general purpose, off-line electronic crypto-device which performs alphanumeric encryption, ecryption, and authentication. Approved for the protection of all categories and classes of information except NC2. It is NATO releasable. (U) The KL43 devices are intended to replace manual cryptosystems and are designed for use by personnel who lack previous computer operator training. The KL-43C/F meets NACSIM 5100A TEMPEST and MIL-STD-810 environment requirements.
